On November 18 and 19, 2019, Alphadi Deutschland GmbH conducted a Discover Excellence workshop on behalf of the renowned Shingo Institute. The workshop was held in advance of this year's European Shingo Conference, which was hosted in Germany for the first time, and took place at Continental in Regensburg. Discover Excellence is the first of a total of six Shingo workshops that distill the knowledge of globally respected leaders and consultants and support companies on their journey to the declared goal of Enterprise Excellence. The aim of this first workshop is to get to know and identify the Shingo Model and the Shingo Leadership Principles. The latter are currently being anchored in existing initiatives in companies to achieve a sustainable improvement in corporate culture through ideal behavior.
The group of participants in the two-day workshop in Regensburg consisted of a total of 29 executives from Germany, Austria, France, the Netherlands, Hungary, Turkey, and the United Arab Emirates. The workshop content conveyed was applied by the participants in various group exercises and selected processes at Continental Regensburg. Overall, we look back gratefully on two entertaining, productive days that were characterized not only by the increase in knowledge but also by lively exchanges and networking as well as interesting discussions among all attendees.
